Kyle Juszczyk remembers the different feel when he took the field for the first time in the playoff rivalry between his San Francisco 49ers and the Green Bay Packers. That rivalry of San Francisco and Green Bay is always a big one. Favre followed with two quick touchdown passes as Green Bay rolled to a 27-17 win. Green Bay won the first playoff matchup 23-10 against Mariucci the following year as the frustration mounted in San Francisco. Kaepernick braved the cold of Green Bay the following year and played without long sleeves or gloves.

The Beatles arrive at Tokyo's airport for their brief tour of Japan in 1966. Each corner of the painting reflects a personal touch, with plenty of variety in shapes, colors and even the paints used. Jiji Press/AFP/Getty Images/FileAfter its completion, the painting was acquired by Tetsusaburo Shimoyama, an entertainment industry executive who was then the chairman of Tokyo’s Beatles fan club. “Images of a Woman” was part of Christie’s “Exceptional Sale,” a yearly auction event held in New York, London and Paris. The Beatles perform during a concert at the Nippon Budokan in Tokyo in 1966.

CNN —If you subscribe to the theory that Willie Mays was the greatest baseball player who ever lived, consider “Say Hey, Willie Mays!” additional ammunition for bar arguments, as well as a whole lot of fun. Those interviewed include Mays’ godson, Barry Bonds, and note that Mays played a pivotal role in bringing him to the Giants in 1993. Setting that aside, “Say Hey, Willie Mays!” is the kind of treat to help tide over baseball fans through the post-season, giving Mays his due while he’s still around to take a bow.
